Some of our Past Events
End of the Year Dinner 2018
Come join the Women of Colour Collective of McGill Law for our end of year dinner/celebration. This will be a casual event and we are getting food catered from a really great place. We have invited ally/poc professors and ally student groups. With this event, we hope to create a stronger sense of community among those in the faculty who have contributed to fostering a better environment for racialized students. Whether hosting events that highlight issues facing racialized peoples, facilitating class discussions, or supporting issues of race and the law - we recognize this difficult labour. This is your evening to relax and enjoy the company of great people!

The Theory and Practice of Safe Spaces.
The Women of Colour Collective of McGill Law and the McGill Runnymede Society are happy to present a panel on safe spaces.
This panel will be composed of three speakers: Dr. Muñiz-Fraticelli Associate Professor of Law and Political Science at McGill University; Michael Kennedy, Director of Communication and Development of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms; and Dr. Dolores Chew, Research Associate at the Simone de Beauvoir Institute. Our moderator will be Professor Dr. Nandini Ramanujam, Associate Professor, Executive Director and Program Director of the Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism at McGill University’s Faculty of Law
